Axis Bank is hiring for the position of Legal Manager to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet a wide range of legal documents and contracts.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements relevant to banking and financial services.
- Provide timely legal advice and guidance to business teams on operational and transactional matters.
- Support litigation management, including coordination with external counsel and representation in legal proceedings, where required.
- Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessments for various banking transactions.
- Maintain legal records and reports, ensuring updates to stakeholders as necessary.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to the banking and financial sector.
- Proven experience in legal consulting, litigation management, and document drafting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
- Prior experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector is an advantage.
