Details of the Job/Internship
B.L. Kashyap & Sons Ltd. is hiring a Manager / AGM – Legal & Compliances with a minimum of 13 years of experience to join their regional office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance management strategy.
- Advise management and departments on legal, compliance, industrial relations, and administrative matters.
- File half-yearly/yearly returns under applicable labor laws.
- Interpret and disseminate legal policies, guidelines, and directives.
- Represent the company before administrative, legal, regulatory authorities, and clients.
- Register with BOCW and obtain labor licenses.
- Draft and execute lease agreements.
- Review reports, assess legal risks, and provide guidance.
- Conduct compliance training and awareness programs.
- Prepare legal, compliance, and administrative reports.
- Handle vehicle tax, fitness, claims, and accident-related coordination.
- Manage employee compensation claims.
Eligibility
- Education: LLB / LLM from an institute recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Must be registered as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Kannada is an added advantage).
- Minimum 13 years of experience, with at least 3 years as Head of Legal Team.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
