Details of the Job/Internship
Bajaj Finance Ltd. is hiring for the position of Legal Manager at various regional locations, including Assam, Odisha, and Bihar.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle and oversee Section 138 (N.I. Act) cases and Section 25 (PSS Act) proceedings.
- Manage arbitration matters and Execution Petitions (EP) to facilitate debt recovery.
- Provide active legal support to the collection team in critical recovery matters.
- Oversee end-to-end litigation management for the assigned territory.
- Lead and organize Lok Adalat participation to settle disputes efficiently.
- Manage and monitor the performance of panel advocates within the region.
- Ensure legal compliance and documentation hygiene for all recovery-related activities.
Eligibility
- Qualification: B.A LL.B / BBA LL.B / LL.B / LL.M.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a Bank, NBFC, or active Court Practice.
- Age Criteria: 24–26 years.
- Requirements: Must possess a personal two-wheeler for field coordination.
- Strong independent work ethic and excellent communication skills.
- Preference: Local candidates from the respective job locations will be preferred.
