Details of the Job/Internship
AMX is hiring a Legal Manager for a full-time role in Dubai. The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with UAE Civil Code, Commercial Transactions Law, RERA/DLD regulations, Escrow Law, and company policies. Responsibilities also include handling RDC cases, coordinating with stakeholders on legal matters, managing legal documentation, and advising senior management on corporate structuring, investments, partnerships, and compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks in commercial and real estate transactions.
- Maintain and supervise legal archives and contract documentation.
- Handle RDC cases, including drafting claims and attending hearings.
- Coordinate with developers, landlords, tenants, and consultants.
- Manage HR-related legal matters, insurance, MOHRE disputes, visas, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with DED, DMCC, DIFC, and AML requirements.
- Advise senior management on corporate structuring, investments, partnerships, and compliance.
- Prepare legal opinions, memos, and reports.
- Lead and supervise the legal department and support staff.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Master’s in Law is highly desirable.
- Master’s in Finance or Business is an added advantage.
- 8+ years of experience in real estate law, legal advisory, or similar roles in the real estate industry.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant UAE real estate law experience.
- Experience as an individual contributor and team leader in roles such as Real Estate Lawyer or Legal Advisor.
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations.
- Understanding of property management, sales transactions, and leasing.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Time management and organizational abilities.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
- Strong command of Arabic for legal drafting and communication.
