Details of the Job/Internship
CA Monk is hiring a Legal Manager with 2–5 years of experience to join the Legal & Compliance function for one of the leading hotel chains in India, based in Gurugram. The role involves handling litigation, contract management, compliance, due diligence, and M&A-related legal work, with a preference for candidates having exposure to the hospitality sector.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle litigation matters across civil, commercial, and regulatory domains.
- Draft, review, and vet various legal agreements and commercial contracts.
- Support legal due diligence and compliance reviews for ongoing and prospective business transactions.
- Understand mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and negotiations.
- Advise and assist on HR and labour-related legal matters, including employee disputes and policy compliance.
- Assist with indirect tax-related legal activities to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external counsel for legal representation and strategy.
- Provide proactive legal advisory support to business and operations teams.
- Ensure legal compliance with applicable laws, rules, and corporate policies.
Eligibility
- Experience: 2 to 5 years post-qualification experience.
- Education: 3 Year or 5 Year Integrated LLB.
- Ability to start immediately.
