Details of the Job/Internship

Capital Now is Legal Manager with 3-7 years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure company-wide compliance with RBI guidelines, CrPC, and all applicable financial regulations.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes in the fintech, digital lending, and NBFC sectors; ensure timely implementation of necessary legal updates.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal contracts and agreements (vendors, partners, clients).
• Advise departments—operations, technology, and finance—on regulatory and compliance issues.
• Manage internal compliance systems and audits; ensure proper documentation of all legal and regulatory activities.
• Handle regulatory filings, licensing, and communications with relevant authorities, including the RBI.
• Establish internal legal policies and risk controls in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Mentor junior legal professionals and provide internal training on compliance-related topics.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; additional qualifications in financial or corporate law are a plus.
• 3–7 years of relevant legal experience, with strong exposure to fintech, NBFC, or BFSI regulations.
• Deep knowledge of RBI regulations, digital lending guidelines, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong skills in contract law, regulatory compliance, and legal drafting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment.
• Non-litigation role; court practice experience is not required.
