Details of the Job/Internship
CapitalXB is hiring a Legal Manager with 3–5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including loan documents, vendor contracts, service agreements, and NDAs.
- Provide legal advice on business operations and transactions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare internal memos and opinions.
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, NBFC norms, and corporate governance.
- Support regulatory filings and manage responses to notices.
- Coordinate with external counsel for litigation matters.
- Prepare case summaries, affidavits, and other litigation documentation.
- Develop internal policies and SOPs.
- Assist in audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Conduct legal and compliance training for stakeholders.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- 3–5 years of PQE, with 1–2 years in an NBFC, bank, or financial institution preferred.
- Knowledge of contract law, company law, RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs.
- Strong legal drafting, research, and interpersonal skills.
- High integrity and attention to detail.
