CFM Asset Reconstruction Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Manager with over 8 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet documents related to loan assignments and statutory notices under the SARFAESI Act 2002.
- Initiate and follow up on legal action for recovery of dues across forums like DM/CMM, DRT, NCLT, and appellate courts.
- Handle civil and criminal litigation and represent the company before quasi-judicial forums.
- Draft and vet plaints, written statements, evidences, affidavits, replies, and petitions.
- Coordinate and follow up with team members and advocates under the guidance of the President Legal.
- Travel frequently across India to defend legal cases when required.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree.
- 8+ years of legal experience in banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, or ARCs.
- Experience in ARCs preferred.
- Knowledge of SARFAESI Act 2002, DRT Act, IBC 2016, and other relevant banking and finance laws.
- Understanding of SEBI, FEMA, Capital Market, RBI, Companies Act guidelines.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to travel across India on short notice.
