Details of the Job/Internship
CFM Asset Reconstruction Pvt Ltd is hiring a Legal Manager with 8+ years of experience to handle legal matters related to SARFAESI, DRT, IBC, and recovery proceedings.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet documents related to Assignment of Loans and statutory notices under SARFAESI Act 2002.
- Take appropriate legal actions for recovery of dues and follow up before DM/CMM, DRT, NCLT, and appellate forums.
- Handle civil and criminal litigation, and represent the company at quasi-judicial forums.
- Draft and vet plaints, written statements, evidence, affidavits, replies, and petitions.
- Coordinate with team members and advocates in consultation with the President Legal.
- Willing to travel frequently across India at short notice as required by management.
Eligibility
- LLB.
- 8+ years of legal experience in Banks, Financial Institutions, NBFCs, or ARCs. Experience with ARCs preferred.
- Knowledge of SARFAESI Act, DRT Act, IBC 2016, and relevant banking laws.
