Details of the Job/Internship

CFM Asset Reconstruction Pvt Ltd is hiring a Legal Manager with experience of 6+ years to join their office in Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting and vetting of various documents related to the Assignment of Loans, and different legal and statutory notices related to the SARFAESI Act 2002.
• Responsible for taking appropriate legal action for recovery of dues and follow-up of the cases before all forums like DM/CMM, DRT NCLT, and other appellate courts and Tribunals and enforcement of security interest.
• Handling litigation (Civil and Criminal) and also matters representing the Company at other Quasi-Judicial Forums as may be necessary.
• Drafting and vetting of complaints, written statements, evidence, affidavits, replies, various petitions, etc.
• Coordination and follow-up with other team members, and advocates in consultation with the President Legal.
• Comfortable in frequent traveling at the Pan India level when required and demanded by the management to defend the legal case on shorter notice.

Eligibility

• LLB;
• 6+ years of legal experience in Banks, Financial Institutions/NBFC’s ARC. Experience with ARC shall be preferred.
• Self-motivated individual with good business understanding. Should demonstrate commitment to organizational growth.
• Should possess effective communication skills and the required job knowledge.
• A deep understanding of laws relating to the Banks and allied, Commercial Laws, etc.
• Should know relevant guidelines of SEBI, FEMA, Capital Market, RBI, Companies Act, etc.
• A proactive approach to organizational issues with the ability to multi-task, communicate with all levels of management, develop team/s, and work in a fast-paced environment in a time-bound manner. Should have a system and process-oriented approach.
