Details of the Job/Internship

Coforge is seeking a Legal Manager with 8–12 years of experience to lead legal functions for a strategic business unit. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global transactional matters, especially with European clients.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including:
• Master services agreements (MSAs)
• Outsourcing & licensing agreements
• SaaS, cloud, hosting, and IT development contracts
• Hardware leasing/purchase agreements
• Collaboration and staffing contracts
• Statements of work, service-level agreements (SLAs), NDAs, MOUs
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal strategy, risk management, and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with EU and UK legal frameworks, especially data protection regulations related to cross-border data transfers.
• Independently handle client and vendor negotiations with international counterparts.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or equivalent law degree.
• 8–12 years of experience in legal roles with a focus on technology and outsourcing transactions.
• Proven experience in managing European clients and handling EU/UK legal matters.
• Strong understanding of data privacy laws, SaaS models, and global commercial contracts.
• Capable of independently advising business units and handling negotiations with global clients.
