Details of the Job/Internship

ConsultBae is looking for candidates for the postion of Legal Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

• Legal Affairs Management:
•  Interpret and advise on legal matters affecting the organization.
•  Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
•  Represent the organization in legal proceedings or coordinate with external legal counsel.
•  Legal Metrology Compliance (LMC):
•  Monitor and ensure compliance with Legal Metrology regulations and standards.
•  Liaise with relevant authorities and maintain updated knowledge of LMC requirements.
•  Manage LMC filings, documentation, and renewals.
•  Legal Case Management:
•  Handle legal cases related to the organization, including civil, criminal, and regulatory matters.
•  Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and prepare necessary legal documents.
•  Coordinate with external counsel and represent the organization in legal proceedings.
•  Legal Compliance and Governance:
•  Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
•  Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct legal audits to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
•  Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
•  Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
•  Provide risk assessment reports to Risk team for decision-making.
•  Stakeholder Communication:
•  Collaborate with internal departments to provide legal guidance and support.
•  Communicate legal requirements and updates to relevant stakeholders.

Eligibility

• LLB degree and relevant legal qualifications.
• 2+ years of experience in legal practice, including handling legal cases and LMC responsibilities.
•  Strong understanding of Legal Metrology laws and regulations.
•  Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
•  Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
