Details of the Job/Internship

DAMAC Properties is hiring a Banking and Finance Legal professional with experience of 2–7 years to support its real estate and hospitality financing projects.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate loan and facility agreements, security documents, guarantees, and related finance documentation.
• Support financing for development projects, including construction finance, off-plan and home-finance partnerships, refinancing, and structured finance.
• Advise on project finance, corporate lending, acquisition finance, and structured finance transactions for UAE and international projects.
• Provide execution support on financing transactions, including term sheets, conditions precedent, security perfection, and post-closing actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE and international banking and real estate regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate with UAE-based legal teams, lenders, Islamic financial institutions, advisors, and investors.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting real estate financing and brief internal stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Qualified lawyer with an LL.B. from a recognised Indian university.
• LL.M. in banking, finance, or capital markets is an advantage.
• 2–7 years of post-qualification experience in banking and finance.
• Experience in project finance and/or real estate finance.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate loan, security, and inter-creditor documentation.
• Exposure to UAE or GCC financing work is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
• High integrity, commercial awareness, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Salary/Stipend
