Details of the Job/Internship
Experian is hiring a Legal Manager with a minimum of 7 years of experience to support the company in handling various legal matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate client and vendor contracts and other legal documents.
- Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders on matters related to Indian laws and their application to company operations.
- Assist administration and procurement teams with legal queries and contracts.
- Advise the HR team on employment law matters and review employment policies.
- Assist in handling employee disputes and draft relevant communications.
- Support matters related to data privacy and cross-border data transfer, including intercompany data processing agreements.
- Draft and review policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry practices.
- Manage disputes involving the company, including legal notices, litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on legal topics relevant to the company’s operations.
- Develop and maintain compliance processes that support business operations.
Eligibility
- LLB degree.
- Minimum 7 years of experience working in a legal team, legal department, or law firm.
- Experience in handling and resolving legal disputes including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts and legal documentation.
- Deep understanding of data privacy and technology laws.
- Ability to provide legal advice on contractual and employment-related matters.
- Knowledge of corporate law and contract management.
