Details of the Job/Internship

Experian is hiring a Legal Manager with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad. This is a managerial role supporting the Company on all legal matters, including contracts, compliance, employment law, data privacy, and dispute resolution. The role involves close engagement with internal stakeholders and reporting to the manager.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client and vendor contracts and related documents.
• Providing legal advice to internal stakeholders on Indian laws applicable to the Company’s services and operations.
• Advising the HR team on employment law matters, reviewing employment policies, and assisting in employee disputes.
• Handling data privacy and cross-border data transfer queries, including inter-company data processing agreements.
• Drafting and reviewing policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
• Managing disputes, including legal notices, litigation, and arbitration.
• Acting as the internal point of contact for legal advice across departments.
• Conducting legal training sessions for employees.
• Developing and maintaining compliance processes to support the business.

Eligibility

• LL.B.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a legal team, legal department, or law firm.
• Experience in corporate law and contract management.
• Strong understanding of data privacy and technology laws.
• Experience in managing disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

Salary/Stipend
