Details of the Job/Internship

FanCode is hiring a Manager - Legal with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves advising on sports broadcast operations, e-commerce legal matters, IP enforcement, litigation, and building a strong legal and compliance structure.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise on sports broadcast operations, including acquisition of media rights, ad sales, and marketing.
• Support legal operations of the e-commerce platform, including licensing, merchandising, listing, distribution, and compliance checks.
• Oversee IP monitoring, enforcement, and strategy.
• Advise on litigation matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and highlight risks in day-to-day advisory.
• Build a strong legal and compliance framework for FanCode.
• Continuously improve standard agreements and legal processes.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a media company, e-commerce company, or reputed law firm.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property law.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating high-value deals.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes under strict timelines.
• Ability to simplify complex legal issues for stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of applicable regulations is an advantage.
• Experience in business and legal structuring is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for sports.

Salary/Stipend
