Details of the Job/Internship
FanCode is hiring a Legal Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves supporting legal operations across sports broadcast, e-commerce, IP strategy, and litigation matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on sports broadcast operations including media rights acquisition, ad sales, and marketing.
- Support legal operations of the e-commerce platform including licensing, merchandising, and compliance checks.
- Monitor, enforce, and develop intellectual property strategies.
- Advise on litigation matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and highlight risks in day-to-day advisory.
- Build a robust legal and compliance structure.
- Continuously improve standard agreements and legal processes.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a media company, e-commerce company, or reputed law firm.
- Strong understanding of intellectual property law.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating high-value deals.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes within strict timelines.
- Ability to translate complex issues into simple language for internal stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations is a plus.
- Experience in business and legal structuring is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for sports is preferred.
