Details of the Job/Internship
Fi Money is hiring a Legal Manager with 5–8 years of experience to own and manage all legal and compliance matters across business verticals, including banking partnerships, lending, regulatory, and contracts. The role requires strong acumen in financial services regulation and hands-on exposure to both operational and legal risk management in a fintech/startup environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across business lines.
- Support NBFC and lending operations, including documentation and regulatory interface.
- Ensure compliance with RBI, data privacy, and consumer finance regulations.
- Advise product and finance teams on legal risk in business initiatives.
- Collaborate with external counsel on litigation, corporate, and regulatory matters.
- Develop and streamline internal contract and compliance processes.
- Conduct due diligence and support corporate governance.
Eligibility
- 5–8 years’ legal experience (blend of law firm/in-house in fintech, NBFC, or startup preferred).
- Solid grasp of financial services regulation, RBI circulars, lending law, and data privacy.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and operational risk skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced regulatory environment.
