Details of the Job/Internship
Fugro is hiring a Legal Manager to join its Legal & Compliance team in Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of legal, compliance, and risk management strategies.
- Manage disputes, investigations, and litigation, including coordination with external counsel.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and legal documents.
- Advise business teams on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters.
- Implement and monitor compliance programs and conduct compliance trainings.
- Provide legal risk management and governance support to internal stakeholders.
- Advise on maritime law, intellectual property, data protection, antitrust, and labour law matters.
- Coordinate with global teams on IP protection and data protection compliance.
Eligibility
- Qualified to practice law in India.
- Strong experience in corporate, commercial, and contract law.
- Experience in litigation management, compliance, and risk advisory.
- Knowledge of maritime law, data protection, antitrust, and labour laws.
