Ganesh Consumer Products Limited is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 10-18 years of experience to join their office in Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the organization’s entire IP portfolio, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, industrial designs, and geographical indications.
- Conduct trademark availability searches, monitor infringements, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Handle IP litigation, oppositions, enforcement actions, and provide strategic legal input.
- Draft, review, and implement IP policies, SOPs, and legal frameworks to safeguard company interests.
- Advise internal stakeholders on corporate legal issues, contracts, and regulatory matters.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, branding, and product teams to ensure timely IP protection and compliance.
Eligibility
- LLB from a recognized university; LLM is an advantage
- 10–18 years of relevant experience in intellectual property law and corporate legal affairs
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Indian Patent Act
- Trade Marks Act
- Copyright Act
- Designs Act
- Geographical Indications of Goods Act
- Proven experience in IP litigation management and corporate advisory
- Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
