Details of the Job/Internship
GLG is hiring a Manager – Legal with a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience to join its legal department in Gurugram, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including cross-border and multi-jurisdictional agreements.
- Improve legal team processes, playbooks, and negotiation strategies.
- Advise on legal issues with sound judgment and clear communication.
- Collaborate with business units such as Business Development and Client Solutions.
- Ensure timely execution of legal and compliance-related tasks.
- Lead by example and guide staff to maintain the highest compliance standards.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or higher law degree from a reputed university with strong academic performance.
- Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience as a transactional/commercial attorney, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and adaptability to new technologies.
- Experience with AI-driven legal tools or CLM platforms preferred.
- Ability to work in international and fast-paced client-service environments.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
