Details of the Job/Internship

Gojas Education LLP is hiring a Legal Manager with experience of at least 5 years to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves overseeing and managing all legal aspects of the organisation, including civil litigation, drafting and reviewing agreements, managing registrations, interacting with local authorities, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on potential risks and liabilities.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to address legal requirements.
• Oversee the registration process for legal documents.
• Coordinate with empanelled legal firms for document verification and drafting agreements.
• Conduct due diligence of properties and documents.
• Ensure all registrations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in registration requirements.
• Visit local police stations and courts as required.
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities.
• Manage and oversee civil litigation matters.
• Translate legal documents and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Strong understanding of local laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Kannada and English.
• Fluency in Kannada, both spoken and written.
