Details of the Job/Internship

Groww is hiring a Legal Manager with 4–8 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves providing legal advice and support in the areas of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and structuring. The position also includes drafting and negotiating documents related to the issuance of debt instruments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and structuring.
• Draft and negotiate documents related to the issuance of debt instruments.
• Advise on legal and regulatory aspects related to entity structuring and compliance.
• Conduct legal due diligence, and draft and review transactional documents for mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising.
• Provide legal advisory on corporate governance and compliance.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide guidance on business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and new regulations.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel for complex legal matters.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations to internal teams.
• Represent the company in negotiations, meetings, and discussions with external parties.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized Indian university.
• 4–8 years of pre-qualification experience as a core transactional and corporate lawyer.
• Previous experience with a reputable law firm is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws, particularly in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters.
• Proven ability to provide practical and commercially sound legal advice.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Salary/Stipend
