Details of the Job/Internship

Groww is hiring a Legal Manager with 4–8 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and structuring.
• Draft and negotiate documents related to debt instruments.
• Conduct legal due diligence and review transactional documents for mergers, acquisitions, investments, and fundraising.
• Advise on corporate governance and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support internal teams with legal guidance on business operations.
• Monitor legal developments and regulatory updates.
• Coordinate with external counsel on complex matters.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations.
• Represent the organisation in negotiations and meetings with external stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised Indian university.
• Mandatory experience with a reputable law firm.
• 4–8 years of experience as a transactional and corporate lawyer.
• Strong understanding of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
