Details of the Job/Internship
Mitsogo Technologies (Hexnode) is hiring a Legal Manager with 8–13 years of experience to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s legal strategy in line with corporate goals.
- Oversee corporate governance and compliance with local and international laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate customer/vendor agreements, NDAs, licensing, and SaaS contracts.
- Lead M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnership transactions, including due diligence.
- Protect and enforce intellectual property rights.
- Ensure compliance with national and international regulations, mitigating legal risks.
- Manage corporate litigation and work with external counsel.
- Advise the executive leadership team on legal matters and represent the company externally.
- Lead and mentor the in-house legal team.
- Maintain proper execution and storage of legal documentation.
- Stay updated on changing legal regulations and update compliance protocols.
Eligibility
- LLB degree; LLM or CS is an added advantage.
- 8–13 years of corporate legal experience (preferably in IT, SaaS, or product companies).
- Proven expertise in corporate governance, M&A, IP law, and compliance.
- Prior leadership experience managing legal teams.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
