Details of the Job/Internship
Hidesign is hiring a Legal Manager to join their office in Puducherry.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all bids, security clearances and other compliances for our airport stores.
- Liaison with government officials for licenses and other documents
- To read through all legal agreements of the company.
- Coordinate with the in-house legal team, business development team and company lawyers.
- Coordinate mall teams and airport teams, business development head, auditors, finance and other in-house teams.
- Review and manage agreements for rent, purchases and partnerships, across retail, airports and other departments.
- Coordinate with legal counsel on land purchase transactions, registrations of lands, etc.
- Work closely with the head of business development to ensure all payments for malls are done as per the agreement clauses.
- Manage and respond to customer complaints and legal notices, liaising with legal counsel as needed.
- Renew and manage international and domestic trademarks.
- Work with trademark consultants on renewals, oppositions, and case-specific matters.
Eligibility
- LLB, LLM, ICSI.
- Proven experience in managing agreements, trademarks, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Minimum experience in corporate sector legal department or experience in a law firm.
- Must be detail oriented, organized and thorough in work.
- Good English and local language skills. Hindi added advantage but not a necessity.
