Details of the Job/Internship

Highspot is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 10+ years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Contracting & Commercial Transactions: Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS contracts, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and strategic partnerships.
• Corporate Governance & Risk Management: Ensure entity management and compliance with global corporate regulations, while advising leadership on governance matters.
• Employment Law & HR Advisory: Partner with HR to develop compliant policies, manage workplace investigations, and address labor law requirements.
• Product & Regulatory Compliance: Counsel product and engineering teams on compliance with AI, technology, and data protection regulations.
• Privacy & Data Protection: Design and implement data protection policies; oversee compliance with GDPR, India’s data protection law, and other global privacy regimes.
• Dispute Resolution: Manage regulatory inquiries, coordinate with external counsel, and support litigation when required.
• Strategic Collaboration: Align legal strategy with business, sales, finance, and compliance objectives.
• Legal Operations: Build scalable templates, policies, and processes to enhance efficiency and minimize risk.

Eligibility

• LL.B. (or equivalent) with Bar Council membership preferred.
• 10+ years of legal experience, ideally within SaaS or technology organizations.
• Proven expertise in corporate law, contract negotiation, employment law, and data privacy.
• Ability to balance strategic legal guidance with business priorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in dynamic, fast-paced, global environments.

Salary/Stipend
