HouseEazy is a fast-growing prop-tech startup transforming secondary residential real estate transactions by making them transparent, simple, and super-fast. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Manager to strengthen our legal function, streamline property documentation, and ensure compliance across all transactions.

Details of the Job/Internship

HouseEazy is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 6-8 years of experience to join their office in Noida. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 20+ professionals handling property documentation, verification, and legal opinions.
• Oversee the preparation, validation, and verification of property-related documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies in all documentation and transactions.
• Coordinate customer property registrations at registrar offices through external counsel.
• Liaise with registrar offices in Noida & Ghaziabad to simplify and expedite registration processes.
• Draft, review, and standardize contracts, agreements, and MoUs to ensure consistency across company transactions.
• Provide timely and practical legal opinions on property transactions.
• Maintain statutory records and registers as per legal requirements.
• Monitor regulatory updates, market trends, and legal developments affecting the real estate sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve legal queries, support business objectives, and mitigate risks.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a reputed university/law college.
• 6–8 years of experience in legal management, with strong exposure to real estate laws, property transactions, and company law.
• Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• High adaptability, self-motivation, and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend
