Details of the Job/Internship

IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring a Legal Manager – Debt Management with 2–5 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and undertake collections process for assigned debts.
• Regularly track portfolio for specific buckets in the assigned area.
• Track and control delinquency bucket-wise and DPD-wise; focus on non-starters.
• Allocate and achieve targets through agencies or in-house teams.
• Follow up with default customers.
• Ensure adherence to collection process and legal guidelines.
• Trace absconded default customers and initiate recovery.
• Recommend legal action for non-recoverable cases and coordinate with legal team for closure.
• Maintain administrative data related to collections, update delinquent account history, provide MIS reports, and review collection feedback on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Eligibility

• Graduate – Any.
• Postgraduate – MBA, PGDM.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in legal.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
