Details of the Job/Internship

ImpactGuru is hiring a Legal Associate with 0–2 years of experience to support its legal and compliance functions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including NDAs, MOUs, vendor agreements, and service contracts.
• Assist in developing and updating company policies to ensure legal compliance and alignment with best practices.
• Prepare and review legal letters, notices, and internal communications.
• Conduct legal research on regulatory issues, industry standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Provide legal support for corporate governance and internal operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and operations, for policy implementation.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in corporate laws and regulations affecting startups.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience, preferably with startup companies or corporate legal departments.
• Strong knowledge of non-litigation corporate legal functions.
• Excellent legal drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret legal documents and provide practical guidance.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and legal documentation tools.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
• Preferred: Prior internship or experience in a corporate legal setup.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management.
• Understanding of Indian corporate, employment, and data privacy laws.

Salary/Stipend
