Details of the Job/Internship

Jain Heights & Structures Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Manager with 5–7 years of experience in the real estate industry to join their office in Bengaluru. The role requires expertise in RERA, litigation and non-litigation matters, and due diligence, along with strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and compliance processes.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents.
• Scrutinize and vet property documents and prepare the flow of title.
• Draft conveyance documents including sale deeds, agreements to sell, joint development agreements, general power of attorney, memorandums of understanding, lease deeds, and other related agreements.
• Liaise with government departments and statutory authorities.
• Coordinate with landowners and review draft contracts.
• Coordinate with panel advocates and follow up on case progress.
• Guide management through litigation processes when required.
• Maintain strong knowledge of legal terminology and legal operations.
• Demonstrate understanding of corporate law and legal defence strategies.
• Stay updated on legislation and compliance practices.
• Negotiate and conclude settlement terms.
• Exhibit critical thinking and multitasking abilities.
• Understand internal and external business practices and operations.
• Handle RERA-related compliance, respond to RERA queries, and support project registration.
• Manage land-related and project-related compliance.
• Track case statuses and outcomes.
• Issue and respond to legal notices.
• Manage disputes involving neighbouring landowners and provide legal assistance during project development.

Eligibility

• 5–7 years of experience in the real estate industry.
• BA LLB qualification.
• Expertise in RERA, litigation, non-litigation matters, and due diligence.
• Proficiency in Kannada (mandatory).
