Details of the Job/Internship

Kshema General Insurance Limited is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 5 to 8 years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements including leases.
• Managing the entire contract life cycle.
• Draft contract templates for all lines of business.
• Promoting legal, compliance, and risk management best practices throughout the company by creating awareness.
• Legal support to other departments.
• Handling trademark portfolio including, but not limited to, seeking advice from IP attorney to understand the registration process, coordinating with the branding team, sharing the mark for registration, and ensuring replies are filed within time.
• Shops & Establishment compliances
• Legal research.
• Staying up to date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules, and regulations that directly affect the business of the Company, including laws and regulations of IRDAI.
• This role may require travel based on the business requirement.
• Litigation and outside counsel management as and when required.
• Any other legal support as may be required.

Eligibility

• Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience (preferably in labor laws and contracts).
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in law.

Salary/Stipend
