.Lodha Group is hiring a Legal Manager with experience in handling documentation related to land acquisition and real estate transactions to join their team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently handle documentation related to land acquisition and transfer, including JDA, collaboration agreements, and sale/transfer/conveyance deeds.
- Fluent and well-versed in conducting land title due diligence in Maharashtra; experience in NCR is a bonus.
- Lead and execute land acquisition transactions.
- Draft real estate-specific documents such as MOUs, ATSs, Term Sheets, LOIs, and RFPs.
- Exposure to acquisitions/JDAs/land transactions in the real estate market in NCR will be an added bonus (not mandatory).
- Work on RERA-related documentation and RERA-specific compliance, particularly for Maharashtra, Delhi, and Haryana.
- Draft, review, and negotiate property-specific documents such as JDAs, collaboration agreements, MOUs, term sheets, sale deeds, and LOIs.
- Conduct extensive due diligence for potential business deals.
- Assist in structuring and negotiating complex land acquisition transactions.
- Collaborate with external law firms on various projects.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders (internal and external) as needed.
- Provide legal support to internal teams to close acquisition transactions.
- Work closely with other departments to offer comprehensive legal support.
