Details of the Job/Internship
Lotus Dairy Products Private Limited is hiring a Legal Manager – Regulatory & Government Liaison with 12–15+ years of experience for its Manda, Sikar location.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with environmental, industrial, labor, and export laws.
- Interpret legal requirements and provide guidance to internal teams.
- Draft, review, and vet agreements, notices, and legal documents.
- Act as the primary liaison with authorities such as PCB, CGWA, DGFT, Customs, Factory & Boiler Department, and Labour Department.
- Handle approvals, licenses, renewals, and regulatory filings.
- Represent the organization during inspections, hearings, and audits.
- Manage environmental clearances, CTE/CTO, factory licenses, boiler certifications, and export registrations.
- Coordinate with external counsel for litigation and dispute management.
- Prepare case briefs, documentation, and responses to notices.
- Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Maintain records of licenses, approvals, and compliance documentation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law / Environmental Science / Dairy Technology / Engineering / Management.
- 12–15+ years of experience in legal compliance and government liaisoning.
- Experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, or industrial sectors preferred.
- Strong knowledge of environmental and industrial laws.
- Excellent liaisoning, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple regulatory frameworks.
- Strong drafting, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with state-specific compliance frameworks.
- Established network with regulatory authorities.
- Experience dealing with PCB, CGWA, Factory & Boiler Department, Labour Department, and FSSAI.
