Details of the Job/Internship
Magnasoft is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Manager with 4+ years of experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advising and assisting key departments on all contractual matters.
- Drafting, vetting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements for US & Europe regions. Amendments and other legal documents including agreements for HR, procurement, relating to engineering, telecom, IT sector, lease agreements, and other agreements with a good understanding of risks.
- Working in close coordination with technical, HR, Admin, Finance, Procurement, and other departments, and external Legal Counsels.
- To examine and summarize customer MSA, NDA, MOU, End User Licensing Agreement, Subcontractor/Vendor Agreement, RFP, etc.
- To draft alternative clauses where necessary and negotiate with vendors, and customers in conjunction with front-end/sales teams.
- In-depth detailed research on various legal issues/projects.
- Maintain updated contract database/Legal Repository and handle general administrative duties including contract bundling, filing, letters, etc.
- Drafting and Vetting Legal Notices and liaisoning with consultants/ legal counsels for Labour cases, Recovery of outstanding dues, Code of Civil and Criminal Procedure, and appearance with them in respective courts and authorities as required.
Eligibility
- 4+ years of experience as an In-House Legal Counsel.
- Dedicated and persuasive with a good track record in dispute resolution and litigation defense.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, man-management skills, and ability to coordinate with different stakeholders.
- Out-of-the-box thinking with strong professional, analytical & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to people across all hierarchical levels of the organization.
- Utilize keen analysis and insights and team approach to drive organizational improvements and implementation of best practices.
- Work towards organizational objectives within the highest standards of agility and collaboration.
- Educational Qualification: LLB/LLM.
