Details of the Job/Internship
Marico Limited is hiring a Legal Manager to handle a broad spectrum of day-to-day legal affairs of the business at their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle a wide range of legal affairs for the business.
- Advise on contractual law and related litigation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including manufacturing, marketing, supply, copacker, and distribution agreements.
- Identify legal risks related to contracts, food and marketing regulation, privacy, competition, and third-party claims.
- Develop litigation strategies, coordinate litigation nationwide, and supervise local counsel.
- Manage external legal and professional advisors.
- Partner with the sales team on distribution relations, competition queries, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Legal Metrology, Food Laws, IPR laws, and other relevant regulations.
Eligibility
- LLB and/or LLM.
- Prior experience in FMCG will be preferred.
