Details of the Job/Internship

MAS Financial Services Limited is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct title verification, property document due diligence, and issue legal reports for LAP, HL, and SBL cases.
• Vet and finalize legal documentation prior to loan disbursal, ensuring full compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, undertakings, and other property-related legal documents.
• Liaise with empaneled advocates for legal opinions and property search reports.
• Address and resolve legal queries from credit, sales, and operations teams promptly.
• Maintain and update MIS reports related to legal opinions and ensure compliance with internal TAT (Turnaround Time) requirements.
• Assist in audits and internal reviews by providing necessary legal documentation and support.
• Develop and periodically review standard legal templates, checklists, and internal legal frameworks.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: LLB or equivalent legal degree from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 5–7 years in a non-litigation legal role within BFSI/NBFC, preferably handling real estate-backed loan portfolios.
• Strong working knowledge of property laws, SARFAESI Act, RERA, and local land regulations specific to Maharashtra.
• Proficient in legal drafting, contract negotiation, and legal risk analysis.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and multi-tasking abilities.
