Max Healthcare is hiring a Legal Manager with 6–8 years of post-qualification experience to join their Gurugram office. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support with a strong focus on healthcare-specific legal matters, complex and bespoke agreements, contract negotiation, compliance, and litigation management across hospital units. The position requires managing both strategic and day-to-day legal requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and closing a wide range of contracts and agreements.
• Handling complex, bespoke, and unique agreements requiring strong legal judgment and structuring skills.
• Ensuring contracts are legally sound, commercially viable, and aligned with healthcare regulations and organisational risk appetite.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Conducting quarterly legal and compliance audits across hospital units and facilities.
• Identifying compliance gaps, recommending corrective actions, and supporting implementation.
• Managing contract negotiations and closures.
• Handling litigation management.
• Providing advisory and day-to-day legal support across hospital operations.

Eligibility

• LL.B. qualification is compulsory.
• 6–8 years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably in the healthcare or hospital sector.
• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex and customised agreements.
• Sound understanding of healthcare compliance, regulatory frameworks, and hospital operations.
• Hands-on experience in litigation handling and coordination.
• Ability to balance legal risk with business practicality.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently.
