Details of the Job/Internship
McLaren Strategic Solutions (MSS) is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with experience of 6 years to join their Goa office.
Role and Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, including MSA,SOWs, and partner agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Establish and maintain standardized contract templates and processes for efficiency and consistency.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards across US and India operations.
- Monitor legislative changes, including labor laws, adapting policies and procedures accordingly.
Litigation Management
- Manage disputes, claims, and lawsuits involving the organization.
- Collaborate with external counsel to develop effective litigation strategies.
- Evaluate settlement options and provide recommendations to senior management for resolution.
Corporate Governance
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and assist senior management in fulfilling fiduciary responsibilities.
- Maintain corporate records and ensure adherence to corporate formalities and best practices.
Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the organization’s activities.
- Provide legal support during crisis management situations.
