More Retail is hiring a legal manager to join them in Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- As Legal Manager – Mumbai, the principal responsibilities of this role will entail the following:
- Drafting and vetting of various agreements, deeds and documents including commercial/vendor agreements. Drafting of NDAs, IT Software and Support agreements, Manufacturing agreements etc
- Standardizing agreements as per best practices.
- Drafting reply to notices to Authorities, customers, drafting recovery and other notices on behalf of company.
- Maintaining MIS and various trackers for management update
- Making PPT for board meetings and as per requirement.
- Drafting litigation related documents, attending court matters.
- Aligning with other teams and ensuring timely resolutions within legal framework.
- Assessing risk and providing its mitigation solutions
- Creating Legal Awareness across various teams in the region.
- Framing clauses, drafting contracts so as to maintaining a balance between business requirements and protecting company’s interest.
- Conducting internal training/workshops for employees on POSH and Code of Conduct policy of company.
- Researching on recent changes in laws/ new laws, researching on legal provisions affecting the business of the company, finding case laws and citations for litigation matters.

- Proactive (in taking responsibility and getting things done).
