Details of the Job/Internship
Muthoot Housing Finance Company Ltd is currently recruiting Legal Managers for positions in Hyderabad and Chennai. The ideal candidates will have expertise in legal matters related to SARFAESI, Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, and arbitration.
Role and Responsibilities
- Litigation Management: Handle legal proceedings related to SARFAESI Act, Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, and arbitration cases effectively.
- Case Preparation: Prepare and draft legal documents, petitions, and replies for litigation cases involving SARFAESI, Section 138, and arbitration matters.
- Court Representation: Represent the company in various courts and tribunals for hearings and proceedings related to SARFAESI, Section 138, and arbitration disputes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal requirements and procedures concerning SARFAESI, Section 138, and arbitration matters, including timely filings and submissions.
- Legal Advice: Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on matters pertaining to SARFAESI, Section 138, and arbitration laws and regulations.
Eligibility
- Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation, with a focus on SARFAESI Act, Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, and arbitration cases.
