Details of the Job/Internship

MyShubhLife is looking for a candidate for the position of Manager Legal and Compliance with 3 to 5 years to join them in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Secretarial Compliance's with respect to the Companies Act, 2013 and as per other regulator's directives.
• Maintenance of all statutory registers and filings with regulators.
• Corporate Governance & Disclosures related compliance and implementing best practices within the organization in consultation with the management.
• Understands various lending business models, operations of NBFCs, Lending Service. Providers, and upkeeps withlatest RBI regulations with respect to lending.
• Contract Management:Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, internal policies, and best practice.
• Stay updated on NBFC industry regulations and assist in ensuring compliance to various laws and regulations as applicable to the company.
• Assistance in filing, registering any document including forms, returns and applications by and on behalf of the company with various regulators like RBI/MCA.
• To update on the latest amendments in Companies Act, RBI and other rules and regulations applicable.
• Risk Management- Identify legal risks and vulnerabilities in the organization's operations, contracts, and policies.
• Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies and implementing measures to minimize legal exposure.

Eligibility

• Secretary, preferably with LLB.
• A total of 3-5 years' experience with Microfinance / NBFC.
• Keep himself / herself abreast with regulatory changes (latest judgements & proposed changes in the Law.
• and its impact on the functioning of the company).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, excellent communication skills both oral and written.

Salary/Stipend
