Details of the Job/Internship
National Film Development Corporation of India is hiring a Legal Manager with 8 years of relevant experience to join its team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and protect trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property assets.
- Conduct due diligence on collaborations and projects for IP risks.
- Handle legal disputes and litigation strategy, including external counsel coordination.
- Draft legal documents, coordinate court appearances, and support litigation processes.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve IP-related disputes.
- Supervise the Contract Specialist’s work on contract drafting and execution.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes and advise on actions.
- Assist in critical decision-making regarding IPR and court cases.
- Report to the DGM on legal progress and activities.
- Develop and implement team plans aligned with departmental goals.
- Support staff training and professional development.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Full-time Master’s degree in Law (LLM).
- Desired Education: Certification in IPR/Companies Act/Competition Law.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in private or public sector undertaking/Government.
