Details of the Job/Internship

Nexzu Mobility is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 7-10 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal advice across business operations, including commercial, regulatory, and corporate matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and legal documents, including:
• Commercial agreements
• Facility agreements
• Deeds of hypothecation
• Personal and corporate guarantees
• Advise on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management strategies.
• Handle legal aspects of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), NCLT proceedings, Arbitration, and family office litigation.
• Manage relationships with external legal counsel and government departments.
• Represent the business in legal and regulatory matters as needed.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and evolving regulations.
• Support ethics and compliance frameworks across the organization.
• Strategize and manage litigation, including issuance and response to legal notices, filings, and representation.

Eligibility

• LLB from a first-class university with a strong academic track record.
• 7–10 years of experience in corporate law—ideally a blend of top-tier law firm and in-house experience in a corporate or family office setup.
• Strong understanding of corporate, commercial law, litigation, and transactional legal matters.
• Prior exposure to M&A, project finance, EPC agreements, and arbitration preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in managing external legal counsel and complex litigation processes.

Salary/Stipend
