OneByZero is hiring a Legal Manager with experience of to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Own the full contract lifecycle from drafting to execution for client and vendor agreements.
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with clients and vendors.
- Review, redline, and finalize MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, change orders, and amendments.
- Ensure favorable positioning on liability, indemnity, payment terms, SLAs, penalties, and termination clauses.
- Prepare and customize contracts using standard templates.
- Create and improve contract templates and clause libraries.
- Partner with Sales to structure commercially enforceable deals.
- Ensure alignment across contracts, SOWs, POs, and invoices.
- Manage vendor negotiations and ensure back-to-back contractual protection.
- Act as the first line of defense on contractual risk and manage deviations.
- Maintain a repository of contracts, amendments, and obligations and track milestones and renewals.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or Finance.
- LLB.
- Strong experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
- Deep understanding of commercial constructs in IT or consulting deals.
- Ability to independently handle client negotiations.
- Strong grasp of legal clauses and risk implications.
- Experience in IT Services, Consulting, or Data and AI firms preferred.
- Exposure to global contracting across APAC, US, and Europe preferred.
