Details of the Job/Internship

Onsitego is hiring a Legal Manager with an LLB & CS qualification to join their Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Build internal legal capabilities and processes, reducing reliance on external consultants.
• Manage corporate legal functions, including M&A, due diligence, and restructuring.
• Assist in developing compliance procedures and ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
• Review, draft, and interpret contracts while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
• Handle litigation, including drafting, research, and coordination with external counsel.
• Manage arbitration proceedings and negotiate settlements.
• Assess legal risks and provide proactive mitigation strategies.
• Participate in contract negotiations with various stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on regulatory developments.
• Maintain proper legal documentation and records.
• Draft official correspondence and ensure contract compliance.
• Handle company secretarial duties including organizing board meetings, maintaining statutory books, and executing documents on behalf of the company.

Eligibility

• LLB & CS.
• Knowledge of Indian laws related to retail, privacy, intellectual property, labor, and corporate affairs.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High integrity and adherence to ethical principles.

Salary/Stipend
