Details of the Job/Internship
Oyster Renewable Energy is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and Review: Prepare and scrutinize various legal agreements, including commercial, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), and financial contracts.
- Ensure Compliance: Guarantee strict adherence to all applicable corporate and regulatory laws.
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct compliance audits and proactively mitigate legal risks.
- Dispute Resolution: Take the lead on legal dispute resolution, including arbitration, litigation, and due diligence processes.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Effectively communicate and coordinate with external counsel, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) is required. An LLM in Corporate Law is preferred.
- Experience: You should have 5+ years of practical experience in corporate legal practice. Prior experience in industries such as Corporate Legal, EPC, or Manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Skills: Possess strong negotiation, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Communication: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Adaptability: Be capable of managing multiple legal projects effectively in a dynamic environment.
