Pixis is lokking for candidate for the position of Legal Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

Legal Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure company-wide compliance with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to AI technology, data privacy, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
• Identify legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate potential liabilities.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to uphold ethical standards and legal requirements.

Contract Drafting and Negotiation: 

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to, software licenses, service agreements, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business objectives and mitigate legal risks.
• Manage contract templates and maintain a repository of executed agreements.

Intellectual Property Management: 

• Manage and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
• Conduct IP due diligence for new products, technologies, and partnerships.
• Implement strategies to safeguard proprietary information and enforce IP rights when necessary.

Legal Research and Analysis: 

• Stay abreast of developments in AI technology, relevant legislation, case law, and industry trends. • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex legal issues affecting the company's operations and business initiatives.
• Prepare legal memoranda, opinions, and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from a reputable institution; additional qualifications such as LL.M or equivalent preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience practicing law, preferably with a focus on technology transactions, intellectual property, and corporate law.
• Experience working in-house at a technology company or law firm with a technology-focused practice is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of AI technology and its legal implications.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to non-legal stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

Salary/Stipend
