Details of the Job/Internship

Pocket Aces is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

• Negotiating, drafting, and closing high-value revenue contracts with OTT platforms and advertisers.
• Ensures proper execution of standardized agreements such as Artist agreements, Business Development agreements, Vendor agreements, Non-disclosure agreements, Talent Management Agreements, Brand Sponsorship Agreements, Brand Integration Agreements, etc.
• Providing general legal advice on business and commercial issues.
• Registering trademarks, providing responses to matters relating to trademarks, etc.
• Managing the day-to-day legal and other corporate compliances (General Contract Act, IPR laws, and related compliances, etc).
• Stakeholder Management - Effectively liaising with external counsel and managing internal relationships with teams, business leads, and counsels of the group.
• People Management - Mentoring and coaching team members to ensure they stay engaged and are able to deliver well.

Eligibility

• Must have thorough expertise in General Corporate matters, Media & Entertainment industry rules, and all IPR matters (trademark & copyright)
• Post-qualification experience of 7-10 years.
• Prior experience in the Media & Entertainment industry is non-negotiable.
