Details of the Job/Internship
Polycab India Limited is hiring a Legal Manager with 10–15 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain MIS for agreements.
- Create and implement templates across all business units.
- Vet, review, discuss, and finalise agreements and documents in consultation with stakeholders.
- Provide guidance notes on each agreement to the Business Unit Head.
- Oversee compliance management.
- Draft and review PoAs, NDAs, MoUs, term sheets, and other legal documents.
- Conduct land acquisition and title searches.
- Support commercial negotiations and IPR searches.
- Handle M&A due diligence and transactional documentation.
- Prepare notes for approval and Executive Committee presentations.
- Draft codes, policies, legal opinions, NCLT documents, and banking/security creation documentation.
- Assist in joint ventures and SPA documentation.
Eligibility
- LLB / LLM (preferably a 5-year course from Government Law College).
- 10–15 years of non-litigation corporate legal experience.
- Experience in top legal firms preferred.
